Dr Whitacre joins us from the University of Kansas Emergency Medicine Residency program. As one of our former residents we are excited to have Jeff join our practice
July 2020 Dr Cross and Ricke join LEMA
We are pleased to announce Dr Ben Cross and Dr Brandon Ricke have joined LEMA. Dr Cross comes to us from Truman Medical center EM residency program where he was Chief Residient.
Dr Ricke joins us from KUMC EM residency where he was also Chief Resident.
Dr Prewett Retires
Dr Prewett’s last shift was June 26th 2020 after 26 years as a LEMA founder. Fifty current and past ED staff and LMH employees were waiting to wish her well and see her off to enjoy her retirement. We will miss you Sabrina !!!

Dr Whitacre joins LEMA
We are pleased to announce Jeff Whitacre has joined the group. Jeff comes from the University of Kansas EM Residency program. He rotated at LMH as a second year resident and we recognized his knowledge, personality and interpersonal skills as a perfect fit for our group. We are glad Jeff and his family have come to Lawrence.
Dr Neff joins LEMA
We are pleased to announce Taylor Neff has joined the group as well. Taylor was Chief resident at Truman EM program in KCMO. Taylor is a KU grad (GO HAWKS) and a previous employee in the ED during his undergraduate years. We are very happy he has returned to Lawrence with his family.
July 1, 2019 Goodbye Dr Sepula
A sad day as we bid farewell to Dr Sepula. She is moving to Cincinnati while her husband starts his fellowship. She will be missed by all.

Welcome to Dr Neff! Taylor was a Chief resident at Truman Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency and a previous employee in the ED at LMH during his undergraduate years at KU. We are pleased to have him return to Lawrence and join LEMA.
Dr Schreiner joins LEMA Team

Dr Jared Schreiner joined LEMA after practicing in Texas for 6 years. We are glad to add him to our outstanding group of EM boarded physicians.
Dr. Korosac joins LEMA team
Congratulations to Dr. Josh Korosac, the newest addition to the LEMA team. Dr. Korosac will begin clinical duties in January 2016.
